Only you — and anyone you specifically invite as a Collaborator with explicit permissions. Your documents live in an encrypted, access-controlled vault; no one at Serene Legacy browses your files, and collaborators only ever see what you choose to share with them.
Only if you turn it on. Every upload first runs through an automatic scan that flags likely sensitive details — Social Security numbers, account numbers, medical information, dates of birth, and more — before anything else happens. AI-assisted review ("Deep Scan") is optional and off by default. When you do use it, everything already flagged as sensitive is redacted first — the AI only ever sees the redacted version, plus whatever the initial scan didn't already catch.
You decide, every time. You can store the original file exactly as uploaded, or store a redacted copy with flagged items replaced by ████ marks instead. Either way, you see exactly what was flagged before you choose — nothing is redacted, shared, or sent anywhere without your say-so.
